- Top 5 Positive Customer Reviews for x5sa
- High quality for the price. Very fast shipping. I had some technical problems which could be solved with some understanding of how it worked. I do not recommend the printer for untrained end users. I had to replace the Throat Heatbreak with a PTFE version, because the filament melted and stuck to it. All in all I can recommend the 3D printer for technically experienced people with a little patience. I recommend the dealer, who can't offer technical expertise, but still tried to help.
- This took 10 hours to build. The frame is solid and the touchscreen controls are very intuitive. I was able to print out the test block perfectly the first time. It came with a 12v power supply but the connectors on the boards are 12/24v so you may want to upgrade the power supply from what i've read for abs. Otherwise it heated up for PLA in just a few minutes. Issues I ran into when installing: One of the z axis top mount would not go on the rod without lots of love and a little lube. The other one went on just fine. The other thing is the top belt rollers seem a little bent and could be improved but work
- A lot easier to put together than the FLSun Cube. I haven't used it yet, since there are two missing connectors. One down side is that the controller board doesn't have USB built in, but does have a serial header to attach to and there's a connector for a WiFi board. Also the instructions did kind of leave a couple things out at the end in terms of routing your wiring and mounting the MOSFET box.
